The SMS ensures that a transit agency, regardless of its size or service environment, has the necessary organizational structures, activities, tools, and safety accountabilities to direct and control resources to optimally manage safety. Consultant shall conduct safety and health related tasks. These tasks and deliverables may include but are not limited to: o Document Review against AUTHORITY requirements o PTASP compliance review of documents and programs o Safety Program Reviews against SMS framework o Hazard Reporting Processes and Resolution o Risk Assessment Process o Data Review / Safety Metrics to measure safety performance o Site Visits/Employee Interviews Observation Tools used to identify/reduce hazards and risk o Training/SMS Awareness of Employees o Staff Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities o Safety Committee’s Processes o Verbal Observation Presentation to include corrective actions & opportunity for improvement o Formal Audit Report
