(Q22-10) Peoria: Biohazard and Deep Cleaning.The City of Peoria is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide Biohazard emergency scene cleanup and deep cleaning services. Upon request, the Police Department will need biohazardous material cleaned and removed from both police stations, police vehicles, and in the field. The Department also requires scheduled quarterly deep cleaning/disinfecting of prisoner holding facilities at both precincts and the court. The contractor must have the ability to respond in under two hours, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week when called for service outside of scheduled cleaning. The contractor will be responsible for providing all chemicals, materials, and equipment to accomplish the job. The contractor is responsible for removing all waste and used material off City property immediately after the job is complete. Due to the recent global pandemic, the contractor must have the ability to safely clean, sanitize, and dispose of any material exposed to biological hazards to include but not limited to COVID.
