Landfills, gas monitoring

(1484) Burbank: w/ *ADDENDA 1-3* BURBANK LANDFILL NO. 3 - LANDFILL GAS COLLECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM EXPANSION 2021. The work under this contract shall be performed entirely within the City of Burbank, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, and performing all work necessary for the construction of the Landfill’s gas (LFG) collection and control system. Drilling and installing new LFG vertical extraction wells, including casings, gravel, bentonite, soil backfill, and wellheads. Installing and aligning lateral LFG pipe, valves, fittings and other appurtenances, and connecting to existing LFG lateral and header piping of varying sizes. The work shall be in accordance with the applicable requirements of the state and local agencies, the requirements of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2012 Edition), as amended by the City’s local amendments, Construction Drawings, the Technical Specifications and these Special Provisions. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to be fully appraised of site conditions and to follow local ordinances. The Site Operator conducts landfilling operations in an area adjacent to the construction location. The Contractor will avoid interfering with ongoing landfill operations. In the event of actual or potential conflict, the contractor will coordinate with the Site Operator and Assistant Public Works Director to resolve any issues. **DUE DATE EXTENDED TO 4/26/22
