(20-032-SEW-009) Anacortes : *ADDENDA 1 & 2* WWTP Outfall Relocation – Upland Phase. This project consists of construction of the upland portion of a new wastewater treatment plant outfall conveying treated effluent from the City’s WWTP to Guemes Channel. Significant project elements include: Construction of a 48-inch diameter WWTP outfall from the WWTP to the end of U Ave; blasting and excavating rock for several hundred feet of the pipeline alignment at depths up to approximately 30 feet deep; connection to the “WWTP Outfall Relocation - Marine Phase” outfall; associated manhole structures; selective demolition of existing piping and structures including asbestos concrete pipe; roadway restoration; testing and assistance during commissioning of new facilities; connection of the new 48-inch pipeline to the existing 30-inch WWTP outfall; surface restoration of the pipeline alignment.
